This is the unit history of the 329th Infantry nicknamed the Buckshot Regiment written by the men of the regiment. It is edited and annotated for a modern reading audience. Care is exercised throughout the editing process to insure the spirit and meaning of the author(s) is retained. Many photographs in the original manuscript were too indistinct for use. Many drawings by the unit artist, Sergeant Harry Curtis were used.
This is real history, these are real soldiers in real combat! And they were the greatest generation. Edited by Master Sergeant Walt Cross, U.S. Army Retired.
