Soft cover, small pocket-size format, 16 pages covering a brief history of the camp, activities and services, and tips on telephone usage [like how to avoid those long lines at the phones and rates for long-distance calls from the camp to various locations in Texas and across the USA].
    Located west of Fort Worth between Weatherford and Mineral Wells, the camp was originally established as a Texas National Guard training facility. With the US entry into the war, it became a reception center and IRTC [Infantry Replacement Training Center], and during the Vietnam War was reactivated as a Primary Helicopter Training Center.
